How does the practice look like?

Warm-up

Preparation for the main practice, exercises at this stage prepare the body and mind for the challenges of chosen practice. This minimizes the likelihood of injury, while increasing the effectiveness of the practice.

Practice

Kriya – set of exercises focused on a specific effect, both physical and mental. The incredible wealth of traditional exercise sets allows you to precisely define your goals and definitely increase the effectiveness of your practice while giving you the feeling of novelty with each training. Everything matters here. Here you will find breath, asanas, mudras, appropriate time and sequence of performed asanas is also important. It is a very precise tool for physical and personal development.

Relaxation

Needed practically after most of Kundalini Yoga sets, not necessarily due to fatigue. Practicing kriya initiates a series of physical and mental changes which affect body, mind and spirit all at the same time. In order for your body to have a chance to fully absorb the changes, it needs a reboot. That’s where relaxation comes in.

Meditation

Mainly comes at the end of practice when the mind is most susceptible to such techniques. Like in the case of kriya, there are many meditations, and approach to the concept of meditation is very diverse. Meditations may imply traditional meditation positions or variations, mantras, mudras and breathing techniques, and even movement or combination of several elements. Beginners are surprised by the ease with which the effects of these techniques become available.

What you should know?
  • You need a comfortable, non-restrictive outfit.
  • Do not eat for 2 hours before class.
  • Tell your teacher about pregnancy or health problems.
  • In case of serious health issues please consult your doctor first and follow his/hers recommendations, let the teacher know what they are.
  • During menstruation (especially 1-3 days), reversed positions, pressure on lower abdomen and breath of fire are not recommended.
  • Turn off your mobile phone and be ready 5 minutes before the start
  • Do not exercise under the influence of intoxicants (alcohol, psychotropic drugs, drugs).
